Hello !
Would you like to consider a unique sculpture of your pet? Something you can keep for many years, as a reminder of how special your pet is to you? Then this website is especially for people like you, people who love their pets. All of my sculptures are copied from photos, hand sculpted in porcelain and made to order. Your dog, (or dogs), or indeed, any pet can be made in the position you want them to be shown in.
Though my sculptures are copied from photos, it isn't necessary for your pet to be in the position in the photo - I can create it, or even caricature it for you.
It doesn't matter if your dog doesn't give his paw, or sit up and beg - you can have a model sculpture of it. You may like your dog (or dogs) to herd sheep. Even if he never has, you can have a sculpture displaying your dog as a skilled sheepdog.
You choose the position, and I'll do the rest. The photos are purely to show your pets size, shape and breed.
You can also have a caricature of your pet.
Some of the cartoon versions are more fun and exaggerate eyes, feet, and movement. They are particularly good if your pet has a distinct sense of humour that sometimes photos just don't capture.
I am an artist that never uses moulds for my pottery and all my models are hand sculpted in porcelain.
They are hand painted and finished to your required colour. Your model can also be made in a bronze finish.
Sizes of sculptures
The size of each model can vary depending on your requirements. As a rough guide, an average size of a free standing model of a pet dog would be 13 cm X 18 cm . Much would depend on the position and breed of dog (or other pet) required, and also where you wish it to be eventually displayed in your home.
Your ideas
Please contact me to discuss any ideas, and perhaps tell me about your dogs. Nothing is impossible, I will make you a model of any pet, in any position. I like to have contact with you so I know exactly what you envisage for your finished sculpture, of your dog, cat, pony or even your rabbit. I work from photos of your pets, and can even work from poor quality photos if your pet has passed away.
Your photos can be sent to me by email, or posted to me.
If you require a sculpture as a gift, you would be wise to order well in advance: there is always a waiting list. Orders can sometimes take up to 3 months.
